Mo Safren, short for Morris, is a native of Culpeper, Virginia. He is a pianist and singer that has studied under some of the best teachers in the world at the Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA. Mo maintains a deep love and understanding of music, which keeps him passionate about all his musical endeavors.

 

Mary McCarthy was born to be a vocalist, yet it wasn’t until 2022 that she began singing professionally—seeking something more out of life, and she found it in music. With a voice and lyrics that can quiet a room, her passion and energy captivate every audience, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of hearing her perform.

 

Mo & Mary Mac came together in April 2022 after meeting at a local music festival in Culpeper, Virginia, where they shared the stage with seven other musicians and captivated the crowd. Inspired by their connection, they formed a duo and quickly gained momentum.

 

Since then, Mo & Mary Mac have performed at breweries and wineries across the country, headlined their first show at Songbyrd Music House in Washington, D.C., in August 2023, and spent six months touring Florida in a 26-foot Lazy Daze RV.

 

With smooth harmonies, fun covers, and heartfelt original songs, Mo & Mary Mac bring a warm and inviting energy to every performance. Their debut album, “Wonderful Life,” was released on February 16, 2024.
